Flat, mirror-like water and zero wind, perfect conditions for a big day at Gordo Banks. A large group of 9+ divers and 2 guides made the trip out from Cabo San Lucas, and the ocean delivered.
A school of 20+ hammerheads came in close and curious, the kind of encounter that stays with you long after the dive. Bonitos and jacks rounded out an exceptional session.

Back out to Gordo Banks the very next day, 9+ divers and 2 guides, comfortable seas with small waves and no wind. If anything, the sharks put on an even bigger show.
A massive school of hammerheads dominated both dives, with silkies weaving in and out throughout. Great visibility, zero current. Easily one of the best shark days of the season.

Four divers and one guide, glassy flat water, and the silky sharks very much in charge of the show.
Departing Cabo San Lucas under perfect conditions, the ride out was smooth and the visibility solid. The silkies were there from the start and stuck around close, curious and consistent across both dives. Hammerheads showed up in smaller numbers, scouts and singles passing through.
