Visibility is excellent up to 70 feet before transitioning to green water. With a water temperature of 69°F and no current, this dive offered a serene exploration of the underwater world. Highlights included a playful sea lion that scared off the silkies and an encounter with three majestic hammerhead sharks. Dive 2 had clear visibility from the surface to the bottom. The water temperature was a comfortable 70°F with a southeast current adding to the excitement. Divers were treated to the sight of numerous silky sharks at the surface and several hammerhead sharks deeper down, making it an unforgettable underwater adventure.

Visibility reached an impressive 80 feet from 0-45 feet before transitioning to green, murky, and colder waters below. The water temperature was 74°F above the thermocline. This dive featured a thrilling encounter with a large number of silky sharks and about eight hammerhead sharks, all in pursuit of a massive school of bonitas. Inner Gordo, where conditions mirrored those of the first dive. The waters were teeming with life, including large schools of snappers, green jacks, and bonitas. The dive was highlighted by numerous silky sharks and about five hammerhead sharks, making it a vibrant and exciting underwater experience.

Completed two dives at Outer Gordo Banks. Visibility was excellent with clear blue water down to 45ft, after which it turned green and visibility dropped to zero. The water temperature below 70ft was notably cold. Despite these conditions, there was no current, making the dives manageable.
Marine life was abundant and diverse, with sightings of silkies, a school of hammerhead sharks, numerous fish, and even a marlin. Overall, the dives were highly enjoyable and memorable. Very good, very good!

The first dive at Outer Gordo Banks started with good visibility from the surface down to 45ft. Below this depth, the water turned green, murky, and cold. The temperature above the thermocline was 73°F. We encountered some silkies, a couple of hammerhead sharks, and a school of bonitas.
The second dive at Inner Gordo Banks had similar visibility conditions, with clear water down to 45ft and murky green below. There was a slight current moving south. Shark sightings were sparse, with only two silkies and no hammerheads. However, we saw a massive school of bonitas, yellowtail snappers, and green jacks, which made for an exciting dive.
Overall, both dives were unique experiences with diverse marine life, despite the challenging visibility and colder temperatures at deeper levels.
