The transition from blue to green water at 60 ft was significant, accompanied by a noticeable drop in temperature. Stronger current encountered below 60ft; required more effort to maintain position.Silkies were very active and abundant in the shallower, warmer waters. Sightings of hammerhead sharks were fewer and occurred at greater depths.

6th June
The dive began with clear blue water visibility down to 40 feet, transitioning to a green hue before clearing up again at the pinnacle. Water temperatures ranged between 70 to 74°F, with no noticeable current. The highlight of this dive was the abundance of tope sharks at the bottom, complemented by several silky sharks in the shallows.
Outer Gordo Conditions mirrored those of the Inner Gordo dive, with similar water clarity and temperature. This dive featured sightings of a few silky sharks and several hammerhead sharks, adding excitement to the experience.
Overall, the dives at both Inner and Outer Gordo offered excellent shark encounters and favorable diving conditions

8th June
Visibility dropped significantly between 30ft and 90ft, with dark, green water making it harder to see. Temperature dropped noticeably at the thermocline, requiring adaptation. The lack of strong currents made for a more stable dive, but wave action was notable. Abundance of marine life made the dive visually spectacular, with large schools of fish adding to the experience. Be prepared for the thermocline with appropriate thermal protection. The abundance of marine life, especially the large schools, made this a memorable dive.
