3rd July
The dive commenced in clear, blue water with a temperature of 72°F and visibility reaching up to 60 feet. As we descended to a depth of 60 feet, the water became dense with jellyfish, creating a unique underwater “soup” that added an interesting dynamic to the dive.
Conditions at Inner Gordo mirrored the first dive with initial clear visibility and similar water temperature. However, upon reaching a depth of 90 feet, the jellyfish presence diminished, and the water temperature dropped to 63°F. This dive offered exciting encounters with several silky sharks, a majestic hammerhead, and a vibrant school of fish, making it a memorable experience.
Overall, both dives at Gordo presented fascinating marine life and varying underwater conditions, enhancing the diving adventure.
