One of the warmest starts to September Gordo Banks trips for years! We had a group of 4 divers that were looking forward to some clear, warm dives regardless of the sharky activity!
Diving conditions
- Visibility 100ft+/30m+
- Water temperature 88f/32c!!!
- down to 100ft/30m and then 28c/82 f at 115ft/34m
Wildlife encounters
- Lots of Creole fish and green jacks
September 14
Continuing with the warmer-than-average conditions, 3 divers boarded the Apex boat for a 2 tank dive out at Gordo Banks. Arriving at the bank at 7.55am ready to dive! The visibility was slightly lower than usual

September 26
The diver arrived at the boat where they met Captain Mario and dive guide Antonio. After a boat briefing the group headed out north east to the banks! There was a slight southerly swell from a passing hurricane further south.
